ISH China & CIHE 2022 to be postponed

11 Apr 2022

The organisers of ISH China & CIHE made the decision today to defer the fair in order to support pandemic containment efforts. Originally scheduled to be held from 9 – 11 May 2022 at the New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, the fair is jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and CIEC GL events (Beijing) International Exhibition Co Ltd who will announce the new timeslot for the event to return.

Mr Richard Li, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd, outlined the rationale behind the decision: “In view of recent outbreaks in multiple provinces and cities in China and the stringent travel restrictions in place, we have decided to postpone ISH China & CIHE. Given the large number of domestic and overseas companies that are represented at the fair, the welfare of our participants is paramount. Holding the fair at a later date will offer wider accessibility for those travelling to the event, offering industry players an optimal environment to explore both domestic and global resources. I’d like to express our gratitude to all participants for their understanding and support.”

Mr Hongbo Li, Deputy General Manager of CIEC GL events (Beijing) International Exhibition Co Ltd, added: “Our co-organisers and supporters of the fair, as well as the exhibitors are on-board with this decision and believe it was right to postpone the fair in order to give all parties concerned the confidence that it will go ahead with minimal disruption. Together with our stakeholders, we are keeping track of the situation and monitoring how it will affect the organisation of large scale events. We look forward to welcoming participants from near and far to Beijing at a later date to reconnect and establish stronger business cooperation with the HVAC industry.”

As one of the leading HVAC exhibitions in Asia, ISH China & CIHE covers a variety of HVAC products & technologies including intelligent control, home comfort and plumbing and is regarded as one of the most influential annual meeting points for the HVAC industry. In the 2021 edition, the fair welcomed 980 exhibitors and 69,243 visitors.

Another ISH event in China, ISH Shanghai & CIHE, will be held in Autumn 2022 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. For more information about ISH China & CIHE and ISH Shanghai & CIHE, please visit www.ish.hk.messefrankfurt.com.
